Where The Flowers Went in Poetry and Pictures
About the Book
This book of poetry and art builds on the prose in my memoir, “A Reluctant Warrior – 1968 to 1974” and expresses how those experiences affected my thinking today. I hope to help the readers understand the effects of combat on veterans or others that may suffer from similar trauma. Further, I hope to encourage others to become advocates for veteran rehabilitation and provide for the restoration of the self-esteem and productivity that these heroes deserve.
